About Us Vavee Studios is dedicated to telling compelling stories visually. We can tell your story, we are certainly well positioned to tell our stories and we are involved in a collaborative effort to start a film festival with a slightly different perspective. It all comes down to the story. Creating, Telling and Presenting the works of others and our own. We believe that creativity and honest storytelling fill the huge void left in the wake of big budgets and spectacals currently in vogue and that an appreciative audience exists that will support this endeavor. History Richard and Jeff met while working in the financial services industry in New York City in 1998. They've come up with ideas for other enterprises but ultimately rejected them as not being economically feasible while each was supporting their respective families. Vavee Studios was conceived when they both realized that while they were moderately successful, neither was actually doing fulfilling work. A quick inventory showed that they had the equipment, know-how and desire. They both agreed that if they didn't produce a short followed by a feature, they had nobody to blame but themselves and that they would likely regret not having made the attempt for the rest of what they were sure, would be their, from that-point-forward, miserable lives. If Richard & Jeff can actually get their act together and stay out of trouble, audiences will laugh, cry and be inspired by the stories and storytelling talent that these two possess. Richard Gandon Richard Gandon is the CEO of InterNetwork Media LLC, Vavee Studios' parent company. A latecomer to realizing he had any creativity whatsoever, he is the driving force behind our desire to tell compelling stories that connect with our audiences. Mr. Gandon has had a sales and marketing career predominatly in the financial services sector. He dabbled with commercial photography and he has added training to his resume, focusing on delivering sales and productivity courses to an online audience. He is a self-taught editor and cinematographer. Being that he lives in New York, he's also a writer because everyone in New York is either an actor or a writer. Jeffrey L. Watkins Jeffrey L. Watkins set out to become a director. Somewhere along the way an instructor at xxxxx xxxxx told Jeff that if he really wanted to know how to direct actors, he should become an actor first and that experience would make him a better director. Jeff followed this advice and has appeared in:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. Life, a wife and two children happened so Jeff's dream of directing was put on hold. Of course because he lives in New York, Jeff is both an actor and a writer and has written a number of screenplays and has a very active 'idea' file.
